ICE Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) Policy Background
The threat of terrorism and heightened concerns around security are bringing significant changes to the requirements around the conduct of international trade. The ICE Security Department provides information on these requirement and is available to provide information on the Company's policies, practices and procedures to customers or other third parties such as business partners or vendors.
On program ICE actively supports is C-TPAT. C-TPAT is a voluntary goverment-business initiative to build cooperative relationships that strengthen and improve overall international supply chain and U.S. border security. This initiative focuses on security procedures, physical security, personnel security, education and training awareness, cargo manifest security, and conveyance security.
